The real last full day of Summer, 2005

So I guess this is the real last full day of Summer. More intense heat today but it is cooling off fairly quickly. The pond is still very clear and very busy but I haven't seen a lot of fish on the surface. I guess the Hawks, Bittern, Owl and Kestrels have made them cautious. The number of bees is the most freaky thing I see, and they are definitely, maybe not agressive, but very confident. They are all over the pond but don't appear to have a hive nearby. Everything is blooming, including the herbs that I transplanted a month ago, and it looks good. Another very nice day and the pulse is quicker. It feels like hyperventilating before the freeze.
