Another tremendous day. Still very hot but a light wind made every shaded area a paradise. For several weeks my physical reaction to the heat has made me think I was developing another geriatric affliction. The early mornings and late evenings are fine, but I just hallucinate my way through the middle part of the day (for no good reason), and I seem to wake up with less available energy each day. This morning the weatherman made me feel better. He said that most of Southeastern New Mexico experienced record high temperatures yesterday, and that the last few weeks have seen daily record breaking heat. Well good. I'm glad it's just record breaking heat and not something strange going on with my body.
