The last Full Day of Summer

I find that concept really hard to assimilate but maybe it really works out. I guess that Summer can also start on a Wednesday afternoon. When Kilo and I were walking earlier there was a Red-Tailed Hawk sitting on the fishing ring and another in the trees above it. I see them around fairly often but never so close to the water before. The nights are still getting cooler but the days from noon until about 4 pm are furnace-like. At first I thought something was wrong with me, but now, I know it's just really hot. We should have a couple of weeks of this, then just regular heat until December.
