The Last Heat is the Hottest

It is only in the 90's, but today was hotter than the most intense heat of a 100+ degree mid-Summer day. Odd, but humidity always adds a sizzle to this area. This is the closest I have ever gotten to the Bittern. Just under 20 feet away and still it is barely visible. The insects using the pond remind me of farmers. Not the specific actions but the amount of activity.

Camron has not been feeling well this weekend, but I saw him for a few minutes yesterday. He lost his first tooth and needed to show it to me (he carries it in a sack). He had only lost it a few hours earlier and one of his Grandparents had already taught him how to whistle through the new gap. He also said that he now knows that the way to whistle really well is to lose all of your teeth. I told him that in the long run, teeth will be much more important than whistling, so not to explore that just yet.
