105 degrees right now and intense to walk outside into, but still not like the previous 105 degree and humid days. We will probably even have several 110 degree days (or higher) this summer. I walked around the pond to move the water earlier. Birds are everywhere and when I sat on the ground for a few minutes, a dove landed and walked within two feet of me. It watched me closely but didn't seem overly alarmed by any movements I made. I shouldn't have been so accepting since Kilo hates for birds to be in her yard. I hope it doesn't make that mistake.
I'm just going to water heavily for the next several days and then mow again on Sunday. I want the pond to be perfect for the 4th of July.
