It was really cold at 5 AM, and still on the cooler side at noon, but a beautiful day. The sky seems deeper as winter passes. I watered but didn't do any maintenance. (pulled one weed, so that would be very little maintenance.) Bill and his family cooked out so I stayed in my own yard and didn't bother them.
Animal-wise, a large hawk has been trolling the pond early in the day, and the robins are actually more interesting than I first thought. The red-winged blackbirds aren't as numerous as usual, and some of the doves seem to have left.
