Today was absolutely beautiful. There are lots of dandelions and weeds that appear to be mutant lettuce with spines, all around the pond berm. I'll save that information for some other time. The wind was nice and when the sun was setting, some of the fish started feeding off of the surface. The ripples were exceptional. The gold color in the trees is real. The green leaves are just emerging and are mixed with the seeds which haven't fallen off yet. The seeds were a lime green a few days ago, but have dried to a translucent tan color which reflects as a radiant gold in both the early morning and late evening.
