The waterfall is still leaking into Bill's shop and I'm trying to get it solved before he gets involved. My new theory is that Bill driving his big heavy mower over the spillway (without lifting the blade and you could always hear it smacking into the rocks) has caused the spillway to crack and now the water leaks back through those cracks and into his shop, instead of through the waterfall structure itself. Over the past couple of days I have cleaned the spillway and caulked the cracks I found. This could be the hole, and tomorrow I'll know for sure. The red-winged blackbirds are like - mean little clowns. I startled the bittern yesterday. Interesting that he is still around.
