Wednesday

Today (actually yesterday since it is after midnight) was nice looking, but cold. Tomorrow is a "red-flag" day for Southeastern New Mexico - winds gusting to 60 mph and less than 7% humidity. The fire season is already intense during any year but this is two months earlier than usual. Generally though, people are more vigilant regarding fire and more thoughtful and starting them. It's just part of being on a wind swept plain.

I hope to start having regular days off at nearly any time and need to immediately work on the pond. It looks sort of ragged without regular attention.
