Opening for Business
"Open for Poster Businness"
I haven't seen Camron in the past week, which is also fine, but I took a newspaper to his Grandfather earlier, and once again he completely charmed and amazed me (not the Grandfather). I promised to spend tomorrow morning helping him open up his shop. He is going to sell posters and teach poster making and had a sign ready for me to hang on the telephone pole near the entrance to the driveway (he can't go to the road). He also had another sheet that he wanted me to show to everyone I know. His Grandmother obviously wrote the first part, but he drew the map. He expects me to be up before 7:30 AM to put the sign up because a lot of kids walk by going to school around that time. When I pointed out that tomorrow is Saturday and no one will be walking to school he didn't care. They could walk by anyway and if they are going to buy posters he wants them to buy his posters, so I'll get it put up. I was confused at first about the product being sold. I was patronizing him and said that I needed a poster and I would pay for it. I wanted my name on something that I can put on a locker. He looked at me for a minute, then said, "That's a sign and you can print that out on a computer". His posters seem to be some kind of art, like the blacklight posters of the 60's and 70's, and he has a whole bucket full waiting to be admired and purchased. As far as he can see, all we need to do is put up signs and put a table to display them on in the driveway. As I was leaving he cautioned me to tell any of my friends who might be coming over to learn poster making, to not cry if the dog tries to play with them.
