Tuesday?

Beautiful day. We slept late because my next two shifts are midnights so we didn't walk until after 10:00 AM, but today Kilo wanted to go over the entire trail. I was more ready for a quick in and out, but the exercise was nice. The plains are very interesting looking. Sort of mottled and bleached. No freeze yet but it gets cold enough at night that all of the plants are changing. It should be in the mid to upper 80's today, the beginning of the strange part of our seasons - the time of year when it is 85-90 during the day and 20 at night. The pond is still clear, the gopher is still alive, and the koi haven't been evicted.
