Evening

Too late for photos. I've gone back to my previous job and work a relief shift that rotates through the three standard shifts - with 12 hrs on Sunday. Meaningless except that it was dark when I left and dark when I got back. Kilo and I went to the walking path as soon as I got here and it was great. The moon is full or almost full and the place itself was almost lunar appearing. They now have flags where the holes are on their course and they added to the moonscape illusion. Kilo has ran thousands of miles in that enclosed square mile area during the past nine years, and she and I have been there almost every day for the past three years, but that seems to be changing. I let her control the duration of these walks and although she is still eager to go to the path, for the past two weeks we have stayed about five minutes. We go through the gate where she spends a few minutes sniffing around (reading - who has been there since yesterday). Then she leads me to the putting green, pees on the grass, leads me back to the gate, and then to the car (okay, I drive to the walking path). Rattlesnake danger will diminish after the first freeze and I'll let her off the leash again. That will make the place more interesting to her for a while.
