That bird is quite a fishing machine. He just caught a medium sized catfish (10" long), put it on the bank and walked around it a few times, then went back to the feeding ring and is fishing again. My sister was watching from her back door and asked if I thought it might be storing up food for the Winter. Maybe, but I can't think about it right now. The gopher infestation has escalated. This morning it looks like the cold invigorated them and they plowed all night long.
