Saturday Evening
I have been busy for the past two days and when I returned this afternoon Camron was waiting at my gate with "I haven't seen you for two days and I have some things to tell you". We sat on the bank and he told me his new plans while I took pictures of clouds. He has decided he wants to build a farm and has thought it out fairly well. He wants a pig, some chickens, and some goats, and we will build a barn and fences. We will put blankets in the barn and cover the wire on the fences with more blankets. Each chicken nest will have a blanket. We will build a room for food just like his Grandparent's pantry, but the only danger is, if any of the animals suddenly develop opposable thumbs they will be able to open the door so it will have to have a lock. If we have room he might want a horse since he hasn't ridden one yet. It sounded like a great idea, and I think I agreed to give him a pig for his birthday, (that's some time after Halloween). Well, I know I did.
The move back to reality is off to a rough start. When we walked up by the waterfall we startled the Bittern that was eating off of the bank and when I told him what it is called, he said "that is a pteradactyl, I'm certain". Okay. It does sort of look like a pteradactyl at times.
The sun went down and I agreed to meet him at the waterfall in the morning. He knows where some good wood is that we can use to start building a barn.
