Either we really received 10" of rain a few minutes ago, or I need to occasionally empty the super-sized, ground-level rain/watering gauge. I'm sure the real rain wasn't green and mossy. The evening is beautiful but the mosquitoes drove me in. They never bite me (even if they are eating the people standing next to me), but they are noisy and just kind of flap around in your face.
I have been hating to admit this, but I am probably wrong about the birds I am calling American Bitterns (their bills aren't dagger shaped - they have a hump on the upper part), and Bill is also probably wrong because he thinks they are immature Sandhill Cranes (again, the beaks are different but so is just about everything else), so for right now, Camron is probably closest with Pteradactyl.
