Connected the waterfall today and our repair was a complete failure (which is actually the redeeming factor in the whole project. To have failed at failure would have been too much.)
I only have one more experiment left - to cement the entire waterfall face. I hesitate because it will cover rocks that I carried around for 30 years before we put them in the waterfall structure. I'll get over the hesitation and do it anyway since they are already mostly embedded in concrete with just their good faces exposed.
The pond is beautiful this afternoon and fish of every size are skimming the surface. The dragonfly/damselfly explosion is continuing. Petite fluorescent blue bodies on some, large coppery-orange or black and white wings on others. It's fairly amazing.
