Warm and windy. 76 degrees today, which ties the record set in 1954. The winds are sustained 28-30 mph with gusts up to 43 mph. We are definitely in a new (non-growing) season, but nothing that really says "Winter" yet. Even the below freezing nights aren't real noticable yet, but that could change if I don't get my wood burning stove soon. The Bittern is still hanging around. I finally put the boat back into the water so he will have a place to sit or sleep. The Great Blue Heron is also still here (not that I can prove either of those claims).
