"Serenity Now"

Can't remember where I heard that, but remember it being incredibly funny at the time. And it still is - I am laughing as I type. At the moment I guess I'm believing that serenity is over rated since I exit on any hint that it might be around or on the way. I walk by and around the pond, but haven't fallen for its charms lately. I'm still after the gopher nearly every day, I still watch and maintain the water, and even watch for things that need fixing or cleaning, but it feels like a chore. I endure the chore because even though there are times when serenity is a handicap, mostly it isn't and soon I'll choose to go there again.
