Cold Spell

The sun is setting and the wind just quit blowing. The surprise of the day has been a drop in temperature.

Generally Excellent

Cold rain this morning, changing to bb sized hail for a while, then cold and drizzly for the rest of the day. The humidity is so high that I didn't go out much. We will warm up again tomorrow and I hope to be much more productive.

Cooler Today

We got the edge of an incredible lightning storm last night. There was a North-South line just East of town but clear right above us with a nice moon. The plants are looking great and Bill's daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren are out there every day.

Happy Birthday Ron

Our fake family reunion wasn't the same without you. I don't think any of us attended. Camron found this cloud and pointed it out to me with, "Hey! A face." It's yours from us.

My Gosh

What an absolutely incredible day. Paradise. The pond is becoming very nice and we are spending more time there. Cashlin demonstrated to her dad how she can climb the berm, and Camron showed us how to roll uphill. The evening clouds are icing on the cake.

Another great Day

The pond foliage is coming to life, and, strangely enough, there is a maturity to the plants this year. I've always known that has to happen as plants get older but have never actually paid attention to the lives of specific plants before. Plants (even the ones I planted) have always been a blur of scenery rather than an aggregate of individuals. The pond will be beautiful soon.

Bill's granddaughter learned to walk up the pond berm today and spent time playing in the waterfall. It was neat to watch.

The temperature was perfect but I don't know specifically what because the numbers are less interesting this time of year.
