An almost perfect day.

The pond thawed today and I noticed that my sister was filling it up. The heron kept trying to land all day, which is out of the ordinary, but Buddy and the Ratdog next door can't allow that, which isn't.
The gopher has a new excavation going on and has almost reached the north side of the pond. What a little jerk. I'm not taking pictures of his vandalism and I hope he dies soon.

Normal colors have returned

The pond has been frozen for several days.

Did I mention that it snowed yesterday morning?
