Interesting sort of in between day

Overcast and slightly cool, but more spring-like than winter. This is usually the last week of possible cold weather (although that could change - and Easter weekend is the marker, not the first day of spring). Was watching for the crane to land, and he didn't while I was out there, but there are several owls hunting around the pond. It's strange how something so large makes no noises that I can hear.

I just looked at today's pictures and they are awful but it's too dark to do over (without disturbing the birds), so I found these. The changes through the years are interesting.

The sky is saturated with dust and the wind is still howling.

Wind speed is increasing as the days become warmer

We have had severe weather warnings over the extreme winds for two days and the worst is supposed to show up tomorrow. The main dangers are flying debris (sheets of metal and elm tree branches), diminished visibility, and walking in the open, I suppose, but who does that.

It snowed again today

Big flakes and they melted quickly, but I got video of snowflakes hitting the pond.
